October 15, 2021, Singapore – Evive Biotech, a global biologics company developing novel biologic therapies, today announced that Simon Li, M.D., Ph.D., has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer (CMO), effective immediately. Dr. Li will lead Evive’s strategic planning and execution of multiple clinical stage therapeutic programs to ensure quick regulatory approvals for global market launches.

Dr. Li brings to Evive over two decades of clinical development experience, including 3 NDA approvals in the US and China and 2 NDAs submissions currently undergoing regulatory review in the US. Dr. Li served as CMO, VP and other senior roles in several industry-leading companies, including Lilly, Bayer, Pharmacia, Roche, Luye Pharma and CSPC. Dr. Li has a track record of successfully navigating the regulatory pathways for both the US FDA and China CDE, including facilitating discussions with the CDE regarding FDA regulatory requirements that led to expedited approval processes for several innovative therapies.

Dr. Li also has extensive experience in pre-clinical research and medical/commercial strategy. He has over 50 publications in medical journals, book reviews and conferences and has evaluated and managed multiple licensing deals. Dr. Li received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Karolinska Institute, Sweden, his MS in Neuropharmacology from the Chinese Academy of Medical Science, and his medical doctor degree from Jiangxi Medical College.
